These terms explain how flexbio.link works, what you can build, and the rules that keep the platform safe for everyone.
Welcome — these Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of flexbio.link (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and flexbio.link ("we", "us", "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
flexbio.link is a link-in-bio platform that allows you to create a customizable public profile page with links, social media integrations, music, badges, and various visual effects. The Service includes:
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at our discretion, with reasonable notice where appropriate.
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address, username, and password, or by authenticating through Discord OAuth. You are responsible for:
You may create and maintain more than one account. However, additional accounts must not be used to evade a ban, suspension, or any other restriction, nor to abuse features intended to be used once per person — for example inflating profile views, leaderboard positions, template usage, votes, or rewards. Where a restriction applies to a person, it applies to every account that person controls.
Your username forms the public address of your profile (flexbio.link/username). It may contain lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores only, and the following rules apply:
A reclaimed username is released for general registration. Where possible we will contact you first and give you the opportunity to choose another one. Deleting your account also releases its username immediately.
If an account holding a rare username, alias or account UID is banned or deleted, that username, alias or UID may be released and offered for sale again in the marketplace. Buying one gives you the right to use it on your account for as long as that account remains in good standing. It does not make you the owner of the name itself and it is not a permanent claim that survives a ban or the deletion of the account.
The shop offers optional paid extras: profile badges (such as Verified and Donator), Flexbio Credits, and one-of-one marketplace items (rare usernames, profile aliases and account UIDs). Card payments are processed by Stripe. flexbio.link never receives or stores your card number. Some items can also be paid for with Flexbio Credits instead of money.
Flexbio Credits are prepaid credit for use inside flexbio.link. They are sold and priced at a fixed internal rate of 1 Credit to 1 euro cent, and that rate exists only to price things within the service. Credits are still not money and not electronic money: they cannot be paid out, withdrawn or exchanged back into currency, they earn no interest, and they can only reach another account through the gift function in the shop.
Everything sold in the shop is digital content delivered to an account immediately. By completing a purchase you ask us to deliver it right away and you accept that, once delivered, the following are final and non-refundable:
You can ask for your money or your Credits back when you paid and did not receive what you bought. Write to [email protected] or open a ticket on our Discord server, giving the account and the approximate time of the purchase. If we approve the request:
A gift is delivered only when the person receiving it claims it. Until then nothing has been added to their account and the purchase can still be corrected. Once claimed, it is final and the rules above apply to the account that received it.
We may refuse or cancel an order, and we may reverse anything obtained through fraud, a payment dispute or a breach of these Terms - in those cases items and Credits may be removed without a refund. Opening a chargeback instead of contacting support may lead to suspension of the account. Prices are shown in euro and may change at any time, but a change never affects a purchase that is already complete. Suspending or terminating an account for a breach of these Terms does not entitle you to a refund of anything already delivered.
Where an account, a payment method, or a group of connected accounts is involved in payment abuse - repeated chargebacks, fraudulent payments, or attempts to reverse a purchase that was delivered - we may block future purchases from that account, from that payment method and from the accounts linked to it, in addition to any other step allowed under these Terms.
The shop and the marketplace are the only places where we sell anything ourselves. If you buy, sell or trade a username, alias or UID privately with another user, on Discord or anywhere else, you do so entirely at your own risk: we are not an escrow, we do not hold money for such deals, and we cannot recover funds or assets lost in them. We may still take action against an account that scams another user, but that is enforcement, not compensation, and it does not oblige us to make anyone whole.
You retain full ownership of any content you upload or publish through the Service ("User Content"), including profile images, links, text, and uploaded files. By publishing User Content, you grant flexbio.link a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to publish all content you upload, and that your content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
You must be at least 13 years old to use flexbio.link. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Service. We may terminate accounts that we reasonably believe belong to users under 13.
You agree not to use the Service for any prohibited purpose. The following activities are strictly forbidden:
We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these rules, without prior notice.
The Service provides image and audio file hosting for profile customization. Uploaded files are subject to the same content policies as all User Content. We reserve the right to remove files that violate our policies. Storage limits apply per account and may change at our discretion.
Audio files uploaded to the Service are only used for playback on your public profile. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to distribute any audio content you upload.
flexbio.link acts solely as a neutral hosting provider for files uploaded by users and does not pre-screen, monitor, or endorse User Content. You are solely and fully responsible for any file you upload and bear all legal liability arising from it. Uploading illegal content — including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, non-consensual or pornographic imagery, or any material that violates applicable law — is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and account termination. To the maximum extent permitted by law, flexbio.link disclaims all liability for User Content uploaded to the hosting service.
flexbio.link operates a Discord bot and an official community server. Linking your Discord account is optional, but if you choose to link it:
Your use of Discord is additionally subject to Discord's own terms. Unlinking your Discord account stops the bot from reading anything further about you and may remove the badges that depended on it.
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is the intellectual property of flexbio.link. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our explicit written consent.
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Service and its users. Where possible, we will provide notice before taking action. However, we reserve the right to act immediately in cases involving:
Upon termination, your profile will be removed and your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You can delete your account yourself at any time from your account settings. Deletion requires your password, takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. When an account is deleted:
You can request a copy of your data before deleting it, using the export option in your account settings. Backups taken before deletion may retain a copy for a limited period until they are rotated out, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, flexbio.link shall not be liable for:
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to flexbio.link is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 100 EUR. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
